Pulled Chicken

Serves 6

This requires almost no prep time and can be made with whatever seasoning you like! Serve with some rice, beans, sautéed peppers, and avocado for a tasty taco bowl, or serve alongside a veggie and starchy carb.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken breasts

  • 3/4 cup water or broth

Flavoring Options:

  • BBQ: 2/3 cup favorite BBQ sauce

  • Taco: 1 can Rotel + 1 can diced tomatoes + 1 packet taco seasoning

  • Buffalo: 12 ounces Frank's Hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in a crockpot and pour flavoring choice ingredients plus water over the chicken breasts. Mix so chicken breasts are evenly covered.

  2. Cook on low for 6 hours

  3. Shred with forks.
